White Oak K-9 Argo dies after suffering medical emergency

WHITE OAK, Pa. — White Oak EMS Search and Rescue’s K-9, Argo, died Thursday.

The 3-year-old German Shepherd suffered a medical emergency, WOSAR posted on Facebook. He was taken to a veterinary clinic, where he died in the company of his handler.

“We will all miss his playful nature, as well as his constant need for nap time,” WOSAR’s Facebook post said.

Argo had been training for just under one year. WOSAR said he showed great potential as a trailing dog.
