T.J. Watt to wear cleats designed by Pittsburgh artist for Monday’s Steelers game

PITTSBURGH — Steelers linebacker T.J. Watt will be wearing cleats designed with the help of a Pittsburgh artist for Monday night’s season opener.

Artist Cody Sabol tweeted Saturday that “Watt said he really liked the ‘dipped’ stuff I’ve been working on.”

The Steelers take on the New York Giants Monday night.

Sabol said he nearly fainted when he heard that, and they came up with a “dipped bridge” design for the cleats.
