PITTSBURGH — The Steelers are getting ready to see their first game action Thursday night.

Will Howard tells Channel 11 that he’s very excited to be playing in his first game as a Pittsburgh Steeler.

His excitement is palpable, but he also has a lot to prove.

The Steelers have four quarterbacks, and it’s no guarantee that they’ll keep four.

Howard will soon get to prove himself after he missed last year’s preseason with an injury.

“I haven’t played, you know, in over a year in live game,” Howard said. “...I’ve been chomping at the bit for a while to get out there with the guys in real, you know, game-like settings with the uniform on, with the helmet on, and I just can’t wait.”

The Steelers take on the Packers Thursday at 7 p.m.
