PITTSBURGH — Another inch of rain fell last night at Pittsburgh International, with upwards of two and even three inches across parts of Beaver County. Luckily, most of the rain has now pushed well south of the area, with only stray showers expected this afternoon.
Drier and less humid air will gradually press south tonight, which will allow temperatures to dip into the upper 50s and low 60s. Friday will be much more pleasant with sunshine and highs in the upper 70s.
Humidity ramps right back up Saturday as the next disturbance approaches. A few showers could pop up as early as mid-morning, with scattered showers and a few storms for the afternoon. Sunday appears to be the drier of the two days this weekend, with cooler and drier air back for Monday.
Overall, warm days will continue as we push through mid-September with no signs of any sustained fall weather yet.
