PITTSBURGH — Clouds will be on the increase today, along with the chance of a few light showers this afternoon. Most of the day will be dry, though it will start to feel more humid as the day wears on.
Look for coverage of rain to increase late tonight as a front approaches. Some of the rain could be heavy at times Sunday morning before we start to see some breaks by mid-afternoon. A few thunderstorms may develop later in the day mainly south of Pittsburgh.
A daily chance for showers will continue next week as a slow-moving system spins nearby, although recent trends aren’t quite as bullish for consistent, heavy rainfall. High temperatures will be well below average thanks to clouds and a brisk southeasterly breeze. High temperatures by Wednesday may not make it out of the low 60s! Fall officially arrives Tuesday evening.
