Highs in the 70s for much of the area today

PITTSBURGH — Today will mark 13 straight days without measurable rain, and that may continue for some time! It will be warm and sunny this afternoon ahead of a cold front that will graze past us tonight.

This front may bring us a few showers closer to midnight but is unlikely to bring us any measurable rain. Morning clouds will give way to plenty more sunshine Friday as highs return to more seasonable levels.

The weekend will remain dry with just more cloud cover. Trick-or-treaters will have seasonable weather with temperatures on average in the upper 50s. The Sunday system has trended drier and slower, which means we’ll likely stay dry through early next week.
