Mostly rain-free today as warm, humid conditions prevail

PITTSBURGH — Warm and humid conditions will prevail this afternoon with the chance for a few spotty showers or a thunderstorm. Most hours will be rain-free, although a shower can’t be ruled out even this evening.

Skies will be cloudy to start on Friday, with drier air pouring in from the north throughout the day. That will give us plentiful sunshine and much lower humidity levels by Friday afternoon. High school football games Friday night will again feel fantastic!

Saturday will be the main dry day this weekend before showers move back in late Saturday night and especially into Sunday. It won’t rain all day, but waves of showers and storms can be expected before cooler air settles in next week.

Scattered showers can linger into Monday and Tuesday as highs struggle to get out of the 60s. It will feel much more fall-like as we usher in the new season Tuesday evening.
