PITTSBURGH — This month has seen some significant dry weather and cool nights, but it’s also had many warm days.
Almost every day has been in the 60s or higher this month.
In fact, through Thursday, 28 days were in the 60s or higher. It could go up to 30 days given our current forecast. That would make it the highest number of days on record in the 60s or above in the month of October.
And if you like this kind of weather, it’s likely not going away, even through next week and possibly even into the first half of November.
We’re likely to see well above average high temperatures, meaning lots of daytime highs in the 60s. We may even still see a couple of 70-degree days even as we head into the new month.
