PITTSBURGH — Scattered showers and a few downpours remain possible this morning as a front remains stalled over us.
The threat of rain will gradually subside this afternoon, although light, occasional showers can’t be ruled out.
After a break this evening, we’ll see another round of rain push in late tonight and Monday morning. Much like this morning, widespread flooding is not expected, but localized, narrow bands of heavy rainfall can lead to localized issues early in the day.
The unsettled pattern won’t let up for the next few days, with showery and cool, breezy weather expected Tuesday and Wednesday. Many neighborhoods on both days won’t see high temperatures get out of the 50s!
Nicer, brighter weather returns for the end of the week, which will get temperatures back closer to average. However, overnight lows will dip into the 40s for the first time this season as we approach next weekend. Fall-like air is coming!
