PITTSBURGH — It feels like summer this morning with temperatures well into the 60s and near 70 thanks to a southerly breeze. There can be a few light showers that cross from 7am-9am this morning... otherwise there will be many dry hours today.
Watch for some widely scattered showers and storms to develop later this afternoon. Most of the home opener will be dry, but a thunderstorm could get close by 5 or 6pm. Storms are capable of producing heavy rain and gusty winds, particularly for areas north of Pittsburgh.
Saturday will feature near record warmth with highs projected to reach 83 degrees! Most of the day will be dry, but showers may move in as early as Saturday evening. Steadier showers and a few storms are expected late Saturday night before temperatures fall into the 40s and 50s for much of Easter Sunday.
Early next week will be seasonably cool with highs in the low 50s under partly cloudy skies.
