Sunny, warm Saturday; Nor’easter could bring rain Sunday

PITTSBURGH — It’s cool but not quite as chilly as this time yesterday, with temperatures in the 40s. We’ll see lots of sunshine again today, with highs pushing into the low 70s.

Clouds increase Sunday as the Nor’easter pushes west. The heaviest rain will remain over the eastern two-thirds of the state and parts of New England...but there could be enough moisture to support a few light showers near the end of the day. The highest chance will be in areas east closer to the mountains where the rain could be a bit steadier during the afternoon.

Clouds will linger into Monday as the remnant low continues to spin and weaken. Temperatures will moderate next week with highs back near 80 degrees by Thursday. Our next best chance for rain won’t be until closer to the end of the week as the next front approaches.
