The Freedom Area School District evacuated all students because of another bomb threat on Monday morning.
This time, a notice to families of the district said there was another “emailed bomb threat for all schools.” In the previous three instances, the high school principal was emailed a threat specifically to that building.
The first threat occurred on Aug. 31; the next two were the following week.
The district said all students walked to satellite locations with teachers and faculty.
Students were allowed to return after a thorough search of all building with police and dogs determined no threat on campus.
Parents are told not to come to campus until all students are back to their buildings.
Harvey Run Road and the district campus are closed until further notice.
Channel 11 is reaching out to local police and the FBI to learn more about the investigation into these repeat threats. Check back for updates as we learn more.
