Another emailed bomb threat was sent to the Freedom Area High School principal on Wednesday morning, the third one in less than two weeks.
Freedom Area School District Superintendent Jeff Beltz said in a statement on the district’s website that buses will complete normal runs.
High School students were intially only supposed to be held at the middle school while law enforcement completed a search and sweep of the high school building.
But, due to the “very low number” of high school students on campus once the sweep was done and nothing was found, high school students and staff remained in the middle school building.
The middle and elementary schools are operating on a regular schedule with added police presence. Normal bus dismissal is expected for all students.
