A Beaver County man was sentenced to spend the rest of his life behind bars for his role in a man’s murder stemming from a business dispute.
On Tuesday, a judge sentenced William Fortuna to life in prison after a jury found him guilty of first-degree murder.

He’s one of three men charged in connection with the death of George Dayieb, 57, of Murrysville.
Dayieb was found inside a trailer in Clarion County on Dec. 29. He had been shot in the back of his head.
Allegheny County police say Fortuna, Jeremy Fisher and Braden Elliott conspired to kill Dayieb over a large debt.

Police deemed the situation a “murder-for-hire” plot.
Elliott testified in exchange for a plea to third-degree murder.
Fisher, Fortuna’s business associate, is awaiting trial.
