ALLEGHENY COUNTY, Pa. — The mother of twins who have been missing for more than a decade is in custody after an arrest warrant was issued, the Allegheny County Sheriff’s Office said Saturday.
Authorities said Friday that a new arrest warrant had been issued for Patricia Fowler after she failed to appear for her arraignment Thursday on charges in connection with her children’s disappearance.

New charges were filed earlier this week against Fowler, accusing her of collecting government benefits on her missing twins.

Police said Fowler hasn’t been truthful about where the twins could be and that she has collected more than $50,000 worth of government benefits in their names.
Fowler was found Saturday at a home in North Braddock, police said. Another person was also taken into custody, officials said.
Her son Datwon is also facing charges. Authorities said he called police, pretending to be one of his siblings, so officers would leave his family alone.
