MOUNT OLIVER, Pa. — Channel 11 has learned that a Mount Oliver man has been arrested in connection with a robbery.
Police say he and two others got away with just $9.
According to a criminal complaint, James Evans, 46, was picked out of a lineup by two people who said he robbed them at gunpoint Saturday on Locust Avenue while they were on their way home.
The man suffered a "split and bloody lip" and lost his glasses, according to police.
One of the victims, a man, told police Evans and another man, who showed up after Evans, pulled out a gun, punched him, "causing him to fall to the ground where they continued to assault" him.
The woman with him told police that she was held back by a woman, who allegedly also showed up and took the $9 from her.
Evans was arrested and faces several charges, including carrying an unlicensed firearm and aggravated assault.
