Police say this is a first in the area.
Westmoreland County Park police said they found marijuana baked into potato chips during a traffic stop at Twin Lakes Park in August.
Police said the two people caught in possession of the chips were given probation.
Investigators said it took the state police crime lab this long to test them.

The pair were found with the edibles before medical marijuana was legal in Pennsylvania, but the chips are still illegal.
Pennsylvania only allows pills, oils and creams.
