Nearly 2 years after election, has local support for President Trump disappeared?

AMBRIDGE, Pa. — It’s been nearly two years since Donald Trump was elected president, but have any of the controversies regarding him and the people in his orbit caused supporters to rethink their positions?

Channel 11 was there in October 2016, just one month before the election, when supporters packed the Ambridge High School auditorium for a Trump rally.

On Tuesday, his former personal lawyer pleaded guilty to charges tied to tax evasion and campaign finance violations. The same day, the president’s former campaign manager, Paul Manafort, was found guilty of bank fraud and tax fraud charges.

But after the election, many members of President Trump’s campaign have been criticized and investigated.

Channel 11's Amy Marcinkiewicz spoke to Beaver County residents Wednesday to ask if their support from President Trump has changed. See her full report below.
