Woman convicted of killing husband, accused of threatening judge arrested again

WESTMORELAND COUNTY, Pa. — A woman accused of threatening a Westmoreland County judge was taken into custody after she failed to appear for a hearing.

A bench warrant was issued Wednesday for the arrest of 58-year-old Tammy Felbaum. The Westmoreland County Sheriff’s Office told Channel 11 News Thursday morning that Felbaum was in custody.

A tentative agreement last month allowed Felbaum to plead guilty to disorderly conduct with a charge of terroristic threats to be dropped.

Police said that Felbaum on Feb. 6 claimed to have guns, an Uzi and a rocket launcher in her purse at the Westmoreland County courthouse. She was there for a civil court hearing.

Felbaum served time in prison for the 2001 botched surgery and overdose death of her husband James in Butler County.
