Woodland Hills School Board member Terri Lawson is expected to resign in September.
That’s according to her attorney, Phil Dilucente, who issued this statement:
“My client Terri Lawson has been serving the Woodland Hills School District and surrounding communities for several decades. She serves free of charge as a WHSD school board member. She has only tried to help to make the community and the school district better. She most likely will be resigning as a board member in the very near future.”
Earlier this year, Lawson was charged with numerous felonies, including theft.
Police say she spent $10,000 on a Rankin Borough credit card while she was the borough manager.

After charges were filed, Lawson resigned as the school board president but stayed on the school board, despite a community push for her to leave.
DiLucente says Lawson was never convicted of anything.
Last week, a judge ordered Lawson to the Accelerated Rehabilitative Disposition program, where she has to complete 100 hours of community service.
