SPRINGDALE, Pa. — Seven people were injured Monday afternoon when a car struck a bus in Springdale.
According to the Port Authority, the bus was heading inbound on Pittsburgh Street near Moyhend Street around 3:41 p.m. when it was hit.
The driver of the car will be charged with leaving the scene of an accident, accidents involving injuries and driving without a license, according to the Port Authority.
The driver of the car involved fled the scene, but has since been located by police.
A Port Authority spokesperson told Channel 11 all of the injuries are non-life-threatening.
The owner of the car, the driver's mother, will also be charged for permitting the violation.
