Duquesne Light Company launches its 2022 Community Impact Grants program

PITTSBURGH — Duquesne Light Company has launched its 2022 Community Impact Grants program to offer microgrants of up to $10,000 to eligible nonprofits in Allegheny and Beaver counties.

There are $250,000 in available grants.

This year’s program will fund efforts in environmental justice, education and social equity to align with DLC’s mission to create a clean energy future for all.

Since the CIG program launched in April 2021, it has awarded more than $200,000 to dozens of local nonprofits, 80% of which are diverse led, according to DLC.

Applications are being accepted online through June 3.
