A father-daughter team from New York used their knowledge of trivia and a little bit of luck to win a record amount $1,415,098 on Monday night's episode of "The Wall," WGRZ reported.
Kirk and Brooke Spangler of Allegany County won $1,415,098, which is now a record amount of money paid out by the show, WGRZ reported.

Both are from Angelica, New York. Kirk Spangler now lives in Belfast and is the associate director of facilities at the State University of New York-Geneseo. His daughter Brooke lives in Virginia, where she is a pharmacist.
Brooke Spangler said her father worked two jobs to keep the family afloat financially, WGRZ reported. She said she applied for the show as a way to thank her father for his sacrifices to her and her sister. Kirk Spangler raised his daughters as a single parent, WGRZ reported.
