Grab the popcorn and prepare yourselves, because NBC’s “New Amsterdam” is back with a new episode Tuesday that happens to be the final episode of season 2.
We sat down with Jocko Sims (Dr. Floyd Reynolds) and Tyler Labine (Dr. Iggy Frome) who star in the hit medical drama who had a lot to say about the episode, the ongoing coronavirus pandemic affecting the show and how they are doing their part to help.
Tuesday’s episode was originally titled, “Pandemic,” but was shelved by NBC because of the increased severity of the current COVID-19 outbreak.
Sims and Labine say “New Amsterdam” writer David Schulner said “This isn’t the time for fiction. We need facts.”
