First Look: Johnny Rockets opens At Kennywood

PITTSBURGH — Kennywood welcomes the new addition of a Johnny Rockets restaurant to the famous park.

Johnny Rockets is a themed dining experience taking guests back to the 1950s with its atmosphere and classic menu.

The restaurant officially opens June 25, but WPXI gives you an inside look at the new addition.

Jeff Filicko, public relations manager at Kennywood, told Channel 11 News this is the first sit down restaurant at the park  in more than 30 years.

“It was really important to us to have that classic timeless dining experience and it just a new addition for our guests to enjoy at the park,” said Filicko.
