The University of Mississippi posted video on their Facebook page of a woman hearing for the first time after doctors implanted a cochlear device.
As the audiologist was making adjustments to the device, Andrea Diaz's boyfriend stepped in and asked her to marry him.
"Because I love you so much and you're my best friend baby, I wanted to make sure the first thing you hear was me asking you to marry me," he said in the video.
Diaz replied with a quick "Yes."
