1 killed, another injured in separate Washington Co. shootings

WASHINGTON, Pa. — One person died and a second was injured during separate shootings in Washington County early Saturday morning.

Police said a shooting at Lincoln Terrace in Washington happened shortly after 12 a.m., injuring one person. That person's condition has not been released.

A second person was shot shortly after 2 a.m. at the Comfort Lounge on Jefferson Avenue, police said.

Matthew McGlone, 21, was pronounced dead shortly before 3 a.m. at Washington Hospital, according to the Washington County coroner. He had been shot in the parking lot of the Comfort Lounge and taken to the hospital by a private vehicle.

Investigators have not determined if the two shootings are connected.
