23-year-old man dies after being shot multiple times in McKees Rocks, victim identified

MCKEES ROCKS, Pa. — A 23-year-old man was killed in a shooting in McKees Rocks early Tuesday.

The shooting happened around 12:19 a.m. in the 800 block of Frank Street.

First responders found the man, later identified as 23-year-old Shaquan Cox, who they said had been shot multiple times. Medics took him to the hospital where he died.

Allegheny County homicide detectives are investigating.

There’s no word yet on a suspect or a motive.
