Lockdown lifted at 4 Pittsburgh Public Schools after reports of shots fired near Westinghouse 6-12

PITTSBURGH — A lockdown has been lifted for four Pittsburgh Public Schools buildings after reports of shots fired outside of Westinghouse Academy 6-12.

According to Pittsburgh Public Schools, Pittsburgh Crescent, Faison, Student Achievement Center and Westinghouse Academy are were on lockdown as city police searched for a suspect.

Chopper 11 flew over the area and saw one person in Pittsburgh Police custody on Brushton Avenue.
