An Allegheny County contractor is charged with taking nearly $100,000 from people for home improvement work but never finishing it.
Brian Falce, 46, is facing multiple counts of home improvement fraud, theft by deception and deceptive or fraudulent business practices.
Five different victims reported Falce to the Allegheny County District Attorney’s Office.
According to the criminal complaint, Falce collected $99,169 from clients but failed to complete the contracted work and later cut off all communication.
The victims’ payments were traced to his Falce Construction Solutions LLC bank account, the DA’s office says.
Bank records reportedly showed numerous withdrawals at Rivers Casino, cash withdrawals and money spent on FanDuel.
