Generous donation helps local children get new winter coats

Some children are staying warm this winter thanks to a local company.

It all started when a group of volunteers from Sewickley United Methodist Church was visiting Bethany House Academy and noticed that several of the kids didn’t have winter coats at all, and others had coats that had outlived their usefulness.

Channel 11’s Jennifer Tomazic learned how a Facebook post about the lack of coats led to a generous donation from a local company. Watch her full report above.
