WAYNESBURG, Pa. — A man who was reported missing in West Virginia in June was found dead in Pennsylvania, according to investigators.
Authorities have identified remains found in a wooded area of Franklin Township, Greene County as 58-year-old John Raikes of Fairmont, West Virginia.

Children riding all-terrain vehicles in the area found the body in August.
Police just confirmed the remains were those of Raikes.
The body was found in a secluded area just a couple hundred feet from the parking lot of the Econo Lodge hotel where Raikes' car was discovered in late June.
Police said there are no indications of foul play.
