FORWARD TOWNSHIP, Pa. — A car crashed into a wooded area in Allegheny County on Sunday.
In a social media post, the Gallatin Sunnyside Volunteer Fire Department says crews were called to the intersection of Bunola River and Elkhorn roads in Forward Township at 7:13 a.m.
One person got out on their own, but crews had to rescue another person from inside the car. Medics took that person to the hospital, officials say.
Elizabeth Township police are investigating the crash, according to the Elizabeth Borough Volunteer Fire Co.
