Content creator claims he took Pittsburgh’s iconic ‘Star Wars’ vending machine

PITTSBURGH — A content creator accused of taking a famous “Star Wars” vending machine in Pittsburgh has admitted to the stunt.

“The Phantom Menace” promotional vending machine has sat outside Fire Station 27 on Virginia Avenue in Mount Washington since 1999.

Braeden Days posted a video on social media saying he took the original and replaced it with a replica.

He says Pepsi allegedly donated $10,000 to the fire station to stock the machine, but adds it’s been broken for the last three years.

Days claims he will give the vending machine back once someone answers where the $10,000 went.
