Cooling centers open in Pittsburgh area for Thursday and Friday

ALLEGHENY COUNTY — CitiParks will have five cooling centers open in the Pittsburgh area for Thursday and Friday.

Temperatures are expected to reach 90 degrees and higher on June 30 and July 1.

The cooling center locations will be:

Cooling centers will be open until 7:00 p.m.
