The home was fully engulfed in flames and firefighters quickly called for a second alarm.

High winds were helping the fire spread throughout the home, firefighters said.

The Allegheny County Fire Marshal’s office says that the fire started in the kitchen and remains under investigation.

No injuries were reported. It’s unclear if anyone was home at the time of the fire.

A second fire in our area Saturday, at a Ukrainian Catholic church in Westmoreland County, resulted in $4 million in damage.
