    Updated:

8/25 UPDATE: North Huntingdon Police confirm Matthew Dervin has been located. There was no foul play. He is fine.

Authorities are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a missing man who hasn’t been seen in nearly a week.

According to North Huntingdon Township Police, they were contacted on Sunday by Max Dervin. Dervin said he hasn’t seen or heard from his 29-year-old son, Matthew Dervin, since Friday.

According to police, Matthew Dervin made three debit card transactions in the past week in the area of the Waterfront and Squirrel Hill.

Matthew Dervin’s cellphone is going straight to voicemail and his truck is not at his residence.

His family made an emotional and desperate plea Thursday afternoon asking for help finding Matthew.

Anyone with information on Matthew Dervin’s whereabouts is asked to contact police.
