North Side house where 11 shot, 2 killed on Easter 2022 damaged by fire

PITTSBURGH — First responders were called to the North Side house where 11 people were shot and two were killed on Easter Sunday in 2022.

Smoke could be seen coming from the roof of the multi-story structure, located at Suismon Street and Madison Avenue.

Crews were called to the scene at 10:11 a.m. Wednesday.

The building was an Airbnb at the time of the shooting. Police say a large party was happening when as many as 50 shots were fired inside the house and around 50 more shots were fired outside the house on Easter Sunday in 2022.

Extensive damage could be seen on the exterior of the home.

An occupant inside the home at the time of the fire was arrested on unrelated drug charges.
