Flames burn through house in Washington County

MONONGAHELA, Pa. — Flames burned through a house in Washington County late Saturday night.

The Monongahela Fire Department said emergency crews were called to Warne Street Extension at 11:45 p.m. for reports of a house fire.

The Charleroi Fire Department was called to provide backup. They showed photos of flames shooting through the roof of the home.

Drivers were asked to avoid Route 88 between the Monongahela City Bridge and Country Club Road.

Channel 11 is working to learn if anyone was injured.
