One person was hurt when a garbage truck crashed into a house in Shaler Township Tuesday morning.

First responders were called to the house in the 2900 block of Greenfield Drive around 9:20 a.m.

Video captured by a Channel 11 photographer appears to show the truck went through a yard, hitting some bushes and an above-ground pool before hitting the house.

A 911 dispatcher said one person was taken to an area hospital by ambulance. The extent of their injuries was not known.
