Glassport Borough mayor charged after hidden camera investigation

GLASSPORT, Pa. — Channel 11 has learned more about what led to the arrest of Glassport’s mayor.

The Allegheny County Police Department now says investigators went to a Glassport home on Friday to look into a hidden camera in a residential bathroom.

Detectives seized electronics, including several small wireless cameras.

DiMarco was charged with two misdemeanor counts of violation of privacy as a result of this investigation and has since turned himself in.

As of Monday night, Glassport Borough officials said they “have and will continue to fully cooperate” with this ongoing investigation, but would provide no further comment on the situation.
