Person injured during house fire in Coraopolis

CORAOPOLIS, Pa. — A house fire prompted a large firefighter response in Coraopolis on Tuesday.

Allegheny County dispatchers said crews were called to the 100 block of Francis Street at 3:33 p.m.

At 5:55 p.m., dispatchers confirmed that one person had been taken to a hospital.

When crews arrived at the scene, smoke was coming from the roof of the home.

The source of that smoke has since been extinguished.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
