Man, 19, killed in late-night Duquesne shooting

PITTSBURGH — A 19-year-old man was shot and killed in Duquesne late Monday night.

Investigators said the teenage victim was shot several times on Ferndale Avenue.

The medical examiner identified the victim as Don Jones, of McKeesport.

Police said Jones was shot several times and found lying on the street. Jones was transported to UPMC McKeesport Hospital where he later died.

Detectives said before Jones died, he did tell officers that he didn't know who shot him.

Investigators said Jones may have been with a group of friends when he was shot and there may have also been more than one shooter.

So far, no arrests have been made.
