BELLEVUE, Pa. — A man has been arrested and charged after police said he followed a woman home and tried to enter her home in Bellevue.
On Sunday at around 12:41 a.m., officers responded to a report of a burglary in progress at a home on Hallett Place.
A woman called 911 and said that she had been followed home from a local bar and a man, later identified as Anthony Bartos, tried to enter her home as she was unlocking the door.
Police were able to identify the suspect using Ring doorbell and borough camera footage. In the videos, police said the man was seen following the victim on foot, wearing dark clothing, a short-sleeved shirt, dark colored gloves, a baseball hat, and a watch on his left wrist.
Officers conducted a photo lineup with the victim, who was able to identify Bartos as the suspect, according to police.
Bartos was arrested Monday morning. He is charged with stalking, instruments of crime, loitering and prowling at night, disorderly conduct, and harassment.
