Video provided to Channel 11 shows a woman running from a U-Haul Truck that’s later seen being chased by police.
Cranberry Township Chief of Police Ken Ruckel confirms a pursuit entered Cranberry Township along Franklin Road around 2:40 p.m.
A Cranberry police officer used stop sticks to disable the suspect’s vehicle around Peters Road. The vehicle quickly came to a stop, and the driver was detained near Myoma Road, Ruckel says. He has not been identified.
No Cranberry officers reported any injuries.
Video provided to Channel 11 appears to show the same U-Haul reversing near Butler Tobacco along Cunningham Street in Butler.
A woman can be seen getting out of the passenger side and running into the store. A man exits the U-Haul and comes inside behind her.
Store employees can be seen gesturing for the man to leave.
It’s unclear what led up to the interaction.
