Man dead after crash involving motorcycle, pickup truck in Westmoreland County

UNITY TOWNSHIP, Pa. — A man is dead after a crash involving a motorcycle and a pickup truck in Westmoreland County.

Westmoreland County Coroner John Ackerman said the crash happened at an intersection on State Route 981 in Unity Township at 3:43 p.m.

Officials say a Kawasaki motorcycle was traveling north on State Route 981 when it crashed into the side of a GMC pickup.

The driver, identified as Patrick D. McKleveen, of Greensburg, was pronounced dead at 4:40 p.m.

Pennsylvania State Police are investigating to learn more.
