PITTSBURGH — After a brief interruption in service, the Monongahela Incline is running again.
The famous funicular was closed at the end of regular service on Tuesday so crews could adjust one of the incline’s cable hitches.
The incline remained out of service during the morning rush, so shuttle buses operated in its place.
The Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry inspected the incline before it reopened.
