Motorcycle riders participated in a fundraiser as a way to commemorate the 9/11 attacks.
As we move closer to the 25th anniversary of 9/11, riders traveled from Z&M Harley-Davidson in Greensburg to the Flight 93 Memorial in Somerset County.
Those participating in the ride raised money to be given to Friends of Pittsburgh Fisher House.
“It’s an amazing day for a ride. We’re so thankful to be here. So thankful for Z&M Harley Davidson for generously sharing this space so that we can all be together for a great cause,” Dayna Brown with the Friends of Pittsburgh Fisher House said.
The nonprofit helps cover travel costs for people who have loved ones undergoing medical care.
An after-party was held at the motorcycle dealership following the ride. The event was open to the public from 3:30 to 6 p.m. A raffle auction and 50/50 raffle were held, with the proceeds from those events going towards the cause too.
