PITTSBURGH — Multiple people were injured in a crash on I-279 on Friday.
Allegheny County dispatchers said emergency crews were called to mile marker 2.4 past the East Street Exit in the southbound lanes at 7:54 p.m.
Two people were taken to a hospital from the scene.
Pennsylvania State Police are working to learn more about what led up to the crash.
