Residents in Murrysville will soon be able to enjoy expanded grocery offerings at the Giant Eagle location at 4810 Old William Penn Highway.

Giant Eagle Inc. is poised to reopen the location, which has been closed for five months in order to undergo expansion and renovation, as a Market District store on Nov. 10. It will be the sixth Market District in the region, which are larger, more upscale, full-service stores compared to traditional Giant Eagle locations.

The new Market District is set to create 100 jobs in the community.
